Cheap enough at this point, but there's 9 days left on that auction.
I saw an original hood in original work clothes sell on eBay for
about $400. It was pristine though. No dents, no rust through.
It was bare enough you could tell it hadn't been fixed.

Like your seat projects I took a hood apart the inner frame out cut up another hood for patch panels I had a week in it and came to the conclusion a nice hood is worth its weight in gold...

Yep, BTDT too Hobo.
There comes a point when labor costs will eat your lunch.
At least the seats are a winter "keep me busy" project.
And they used up some 1/16 inch 6011 rod someone gifted me.
Last year's winter project was a complete rebuild on that '52 8N
side mount engine. Guess I got off "cheap" this year. Rolling Eyes

Still got a set of Allis Chalmers PA rims in the shop to do this winter.
