I asked last week what the work around was for 300/351 headlights as the 5" are not made any more. I went with c.amick's suggestion and split and glued a rubber gasline hose around the light. I tried to improve on it by ordering some 1/2" u channel, but that stuff was harder to work with than the gas line. Items needed: gas line, glue and hose clamp big enough to hold it down till dry.

I used vacuum hose which is smaller in diameter. Hope the ring will fit.

They are actually a little smaller than 5" even with the bigger tubing. I think they will work ok.

kenbob my 300 was in a fire and the lights/mounts were crispy and melted so we put on some lights from a Massey combine coupled with some custom brackets to hold it.

Brackets look great. I am too small time and don't have much in the way of metal working tools except tin snips so I guess glue and rubber will have to do for me.

WSell, that didn't work out. New lights (at least the ones I got) are twice as thick at the rim than the old ones. Even though my lights measured 5" they would not fit in the light housing. I ended up peeling the rubber off and taking black electrical tape and winding it 4 times around the rim. The lights fit nice and snug.
