What color are the headlight wings supposed to be? I found a really nice NOS pair on Epay. So nice that they actually look like maybe they're not supposed to be painted?

I bought a set of used headlights with wings at an auction and it was all painted body color.

I'm enjoying your build!

Yes Sir, on the color Razz Razz

"On the bottle" had a completely different meaning in my youth. As in on nitrous oxide. Not the stupid "NAAASSS" that hollyweird has made it.

Anyways, I have the parts I just didn't get to it today. Tomorrow it'll be off the bottle.

I take it that's a oil pressure switch... I added a oil light to my 50 just cuzz I could... Your pix of the white is probably why Ford chose the original gray/olive color... Nice work...

Yup, oil pressure switch which turns on a buzzer when someone doesn't turn the ignition off and is going to cook the points. I guess it would also buzz if you lost oil pressure while it was still running.

It may not be eye candy to Ford guys but the car enthusiasts will love it.

That is a fantastic.

I like the oil pressure switch idea. I'm rigging my 2N with lights (definitely not original...) and the oil pressure-triggered buzzer sounds like a great idea; as long as I'm messing with the wiring.

I really appreciate all of the details.

I hope that your wife has many enjoyable years using this tractor!
