Southern Indiana , some have expressed an interest in getting together. Hers is a suggestion. Saturday April 6 is the White River Antique association swap meet at Elnora Indiana. Meet starts early and is about over by eleven AM. This also the date of the largest FFA consignment sale in Sullivan Indiana. I am suggesting our get together either Friday evening or Saturday April 6. E mail is open or call 812 six six five 3419. This is a suggestion , very open to other dates.

depending on when and what time I would like to make the trip about 2 hours for me to get there, might bring one or 2 more with me if they want to come. Friday or sat afternoon would work, I would think and meet and eat event would be fun.

sale is not junk. lot of late model tractors planters most all large equipment as well as older 4 and 6 row . They do not except old tires and trash or garage sale things, Check Jeff Boston auctioneer web site. Jeff is one of the best. What he says you can take to the bank. No buyers premium as I recall. Often farmers will take all their items rather than have a final sale when they quite farming. Very large sale. Most time sale is over by 4 pm. He has several auctioneers. Large amount of tools , welders, and quality items inside, Sale in held at Sullivan county fair grounds. Only thing for me is Elnora swap meet is same day. However swap meet ends early. Many folks will start at swap meet early then drive maybe 30 miles to FFA sale.

I am too far away to consider comming. That said if it was close but I could not get home before dark I would not consider comming. Several years the tractor club had their Christmas get together in evening and I could not go. 2 years ago moverd it back to center of club area and noon so I was able to go. Planed on this year but snow storm killed my plans. So please consider that a lot of us older guys do have trouble driving at night and if at noon would come to something like that but not if we could not get home before dark. Just something to think about.
