I have a backhoe that is a dinasore and i cannot figuer out wy it woant drive. It will work all of the hidroliks just woant movw back and forth. It akts like it just wilnot ingage the tranney. if you have any answers to my qustion emal me at jescha2005@yahoo Thank You for your assistans

It sound like a COM Clutch. The clutch acts like an Auotomatic Transmission "without" Gear Shifting. The tractor does not move until engine is rev'd.

You must engage/select three (3) manual levers
with the clutch pushed down.

1. The normal Gear Shift 1/2/3/4

2. The HI/Low range (short lever normally lower right)

3.The Shuttle for Forward or Reverse. Normaly
a long lever on the Left.

There is a lever on the Dash that selects the mode of the clutch. Up is normal to start moving your tractor, Down is a Direct mode. IF you pull that lever down & then push the Clutch in, the lever will be reset to its upper position.

Other problems : low fluid or plugged filter
