|

Have a 930 that the clutch pedal does not move when you step on it. Tractor was operating when this developed. Another family member was running it, tried to shift gears on hillside, it is the standard 8 speed trans. Tractor will still move, just devil of a time getting in gear. Any thoughts on identifying problem, short of splitting tractor? |

not that it could be your problem (or maybe is) but I have seen the tube that the throwout brg. rides on come out of the front of the trans. and cause problems like clutch not disengaging properly, something to check if you split it. |

In all likelihood, you are going to have to split the tractor. As Pam SD stated, there is the inspection cover where you grease the throw out bearing that might allow you to see what has happened buteven if you can see it you will have to split inorder to repair. |

First like was stated, disconnect the clutch pedal. Then see if it moves. I have had them freeze in place. Then if it does then remove the inspection cover reconnect the linkage and contunie to check things. Bob |
