Hello All,

I picked up a Scatback 430. This is a mini loader Model Q52, By Davis Manufacturing division of JI Case. I am having trouble finding parts for it unfortunately. Can anyone help me with a website I can either get used or new parts from for this machine. I am located on Long Island, if there are any dealers or junk yards here that I can visit as well, that would be helpful too.

However, Q52 does not come up, and the only 430's are the 430 tractor. Can you post any pictures and tell us what you are needing?

Hello John. Thanks for replying. I am looking for a good amount of parts actually. I'm becoming optimistic that I'll find them or even most of them at this point. I have a parts catalog for the machine with part numbers, but I am not getting any hits anywhere when I use these numbers. I am assuming these numbers have been discontinued if they are still available and other numbers have been put in their place through another manufacture or distributor and that's why I'm not having any hits. I sent the below list to a gentlemen yesterday in Buffalo who said he may be able to help. Keep in mind these numbers aren't part numbers they are the item number being referenced from the parts catalog I have. I'll upload the parts catalog as well. I cant upload documents, so I'll have to take pictures of the pages and upload them.

See the list of the items I am interested in below:

Page 5- Items, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, & 14
Page 7B- Items, 14, 18, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, C-D for item 32, & 34- Why all the different size thrust washers? do I need all three or do I only need one size x2EA for this particular machine ?
Page 11- Items, 12, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 41, 56, 59, 60, & 61
Page 11B- Items, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, & 40
Page 17- Item, 14
Page 19- Items, 10, 11, 12, & 35: Note: See page 25 items. If I can get the parts listed on this page then I can rebuild the current steering valve that works. Its just the male and female splines that are damaged on the steering wheel and valve stem.
Page 23- Item, 40
Page 25- Items, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, & 30. Item 20, what is this part? Is this the female end of the spline socket for item 10 to fit into? It looks like that too me, if that is the case, then I need one of those because that is whats actually damaged on mine.
Page 35- Items, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13 & 23
Page 11 from operators manual- See attached document. I am also looking for the entire oil-bath type cleaner assembly off of the intake manifold. I need the filter cannister, the filter element, & oil cup. On the other side of the intake manifold, there is also a plastic black cap, it almost looks like a grease tube cap. See attached pictures. What should be here in its place. If I remove the plastic cap you see into the manifold.

Dumb question, but....is that an air cooled diesel?

No question is a dumb one in my book. Yes, its a Hatz 2 cyl air cooled diesel.

This machine has the option to use the Hatz or a Wisconsin gas engine. Why do you ask?

On you pics, you are not giving the system enough time to download a former pic before you try to download another. Bottom line is you are confusing the system

Do it this way, may not fully download a pic with excessive detail but will download most successfully.

Above your 1st pic when you commence download, see the note "Continuing uploads"
Continuing uploads

Do not try to download another pic until that notation changes "Total Files Uploaded 1"

Each successful download will change the number at the end of "Total Files Uploaded "

If you're down loading 6 pics count should be 6.

When you review before you post, anything that is not on that review is not going to be posted.

Why don't you post the part nrs a few replaceable parts, maybe we can cross-ref.

Try your p/n's at this website. Haven't dealt with them, just working nrs for now.

Some of your p/n's have been superseded, example at 2nd link. Use both nrs when you are searching for the part since vendors may use either one or the other p/n.

Case dealers are especially poor at updating the old p/n in their search inventories and just tell the customer that the part is no longer available when in fact it is available under the new p/n.
