Looking at one with 3800 hours for $13,000. Needs paint, but works real well. What kind of hours will this last to or start costing money? Just looking for educated guess, I suppose. Any opinions appreciated. Thanks, Gus

I'd say its about due to start costing money !!! The price sounds a bit high... not sure of your location or how the market is there, but I just sold a 250 with 2900 hrs for $9500. Does everything work on it ?? Especially park brake and boom/bucket lockouts?? That can get expensive to repair and should work for safe operation.. I bet you can find a better deal elsewhere...Skid steers usually live a hard life and condition can vary greatly depending on who was running it.

I was actually posting for my nephew. He ran it for a day with no trouble. Says it was farm owned mostly moving manure. He asked me to ask around for him. I don't know how much research he did on them, but he's kind of impulsive. I'll let him know. Thanks Jonathan.
