Makes it jump a gap in wire.I have seen solid core wires cut and stripped back with a clothes button spliced in the wire so spark has to jump across the holes in the button.

Try running it in the dark,if you have a bad plug,wire,cracked cap it my show up with a nice light show. Make sure that your plug wires are routed correctly. I chased a miss/miss fire, on my pu for several hours, it was a bad wire, but I crossed the new ones at the cap putting them on(I know better and did it anyway. Smile

I dont know what was done to the head, he just told me it had a valve job done, but I remember him saying after that it had a miss at idle, after it was done. I am afraid I will have to take the head off, Again, thanks for all the help
