These screens don't fit properly. Notice the solid part of the
screen at the rear of the slots. This should not be noticeable.
Only the holes should show.
Does anyone know where I can get proper ones. I think a lot of
aftermarket parts are shared by all suppliers but I don't know
if there is more than one manufacturer of these screens.
I got these from Sharp's (four is all they had but if I can find
correct ones I won't use the other two).

It's amazing what you were able to do with those grills! Great job!

I have the tools and a couple M grills to work on that are no where near as bad. I keep putting off doing it because I'm afraid I won't be able to do the kind of job you have. Just out of curiosity how many hours work do you think you have in each grill before paint?

I intended to keep time on these Hs but was afraid I would be too depressed
when I got through. Besides I was working on eight grills at the same time.
The worse part was removing the old screens without damaging the sheet metal.
Welding was tough for me too since I don't have a wire welder. It's easy to
burn through rotten metal with an arc welder.
I have six hoods finished with too much tied up in them too. I'm not doing
these to sell. I have the dumb goal of having one for each year. I might have
to find a rich woman.
I did a little searching this morning and it looks like Riley's has the same
screens I have. Steiner's looks like they might be right. I intend to call
them tomorrow.
I also need a seat repair kit (disks & rivets) but Steiner's
is twice the price of Sharp's. Just can't win.
Good luck with your grills.

I think your grilles look great! And, no offense intended, but I would suspect that after they're painted you will be the only one that notices those solid pieces at the end of those slots!
I realize it's your tractor, but I would be darn proud to have grilles that nice on any of mine. Just sayin'.

When I first saw grill screen avail. it was some guy in Ohio. I can't remember the name ? I wonder if he is still around ? Seemed like it was a sheet of it and not preformed.

Those are still available. I have two coming to see what they look like.
Steiners has the formed ones that look right but I thought I would look
at these first.
