hi everyone ,i'm new to the forum.........i have a 1953 golden jubilee any idea where i can get a governor fork? the part #EAF-18235-C any help will be appreciated

They are no longer made and no longer avialable new, unless some dealer still has on ein stock. Call Messicks and ask them to search for one for you. When yu search for that part number on their web site it says:

A part on your order has been discontinued. We allow the ordering of discontinued parts because Messick's has several places to source these items after the manufacturer has ended support. Inventories in these warehouses are not available electronically. We encourage you to place an order, and we will do our best to locate the parts you need.

Tony, do you have the measurements for thickness new vs. minimum allowable? Your best bet may be to take it to an automotive machine shop to get it spray welded and turned back as they do to crankshafts.
