are the brake drums the same on the 140 part# 6401 DBX and bn part#6401 DAX same number but different prefix thanks

I think the answer is "no." Somewhere when the Super A came along the brake design changed slightly. The brake band was modified so the long "rod" was no longer attached. I think the drums that have a separate rod (the later ones) are 7 inches in diameter. I don't know the diameter for the others.
The places that I see selling brake drums seem to sell them for the A, B, AV and BN, (6401 DAX), and then list them separately (6401 DBX) when selling them for the Super A, 100, 130, and 140.
I'm not endorsing this retailer, but I have done business with them and they know what they're talking about. They list them separately, so I am guessing the are not the same part.
