Lights all worked fine until we changed out the battery. Now none of them work. Is there a fuse anywhere? Can't seem to find one if there is. This is a 1962 6-volt converted to 12-volt.

You sure it was converted to 12V? Nothing burns out 6V light bulbs quicker than putting 12V to them.

If the old battery only had 3 caps, it was a 6 Volt.

The lights may have been 6V, and worked due to the weak battery. Put in the fresh battery, and *POOF*!

You may well have simply burned out all the bulbs.

All the wiring is in the compartment behind the battery, so you may well have disturbed something in there when you changed the battery.

There is no 'magic' fix. You're gonna have to do somr troubleshooting. First, remove the bulbs and look and see if they are 6 or 12 volt. They will be labeled. Then test each one individually. Use a small jumper wire. Then get out your test light and check for power,or where there is no power, but should be.Check the switch as well. The fuse holder should be a small black button on the instrument panel. However, after almost 50 years,it could have been changed or even removed. But,my bet is you fried the 6 volt bulds when you hooked a full 12 volts to them. POOF! That can be remedied by simply putting in 12 volt bulbs.

Yes it definitely has been converted to 12 volts. I'll check the wiring. Do you know if there is a fuse anywhere that I need to check? Thanks for your reply.

Thanks for the reply. Guess I'll do some trouble shooting. My guess is the bulbs are 12 volt since that's what the battery was before. However, I'll check them. If they are OK, I'll guess I'll follow the wiring until I come across the problem.

No Mark. There is a hole in the dash that might have had a fuse at some point. I'll just have to trace the wires and see if I can find the problem. I'm sure it's something simple. Thanks for replying.
