I have a coolant pipe going into a fitting that is screwed into the coolant crossover casting. Do you just push tabs against pipe and pull pipe out of fitting?

That is how it is supposed to work but it does not work after time. Unless it is an aftermarket steel fitting it will likely break off in the intake. There is a KD or Lisle ease out made for this fitting. You can also use a short hacksaw blade to saw it in half and knock out the pieces. A scar will still seal, just be sure not to cut too deep into the threads.

Thank you for the reply. Luckily pipe came out. I was thinking the worse and seen a few vids on fixing the casting with the Lisle easy out. Again thank you for the reply.
