does anyone on here know if philip from in ever got his 6000 done?
i'd like to see pictures of it and more 6000s in general.
i hope to someday have one of them myself. actually 3 of them a red one a blue one and a commander one of them a gas burner.

Virgil, I installed the rebuilt engine the day after Mother's Day. It is coming along nicely, but slowly. I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old that are taking more of my time than the 6000. I will try to wheel it out of the barn and get some new pictures of it. Philip.

thanks for your response. i remember those days i only had 1 kid of my own but i worked 12-14 hours days.
dad's cousin has a ford 6000 diesel which i ran on hay baler when i was in high school and i've
wanted 1 ever since.
do you farm or have an off farm job?

I would call it a hobby farm. The farm has been in the family since 1960. It is 20 acres that sits in suburban Indianapolis. 17 of those acres are leased out. The other 3 are the origianl homestead, some new outbuildings, some old outbuildings. Philip.
