My WC has an Energy Farm Equipment, hydraulics unit on the rear of the tractor. Does anyone have information on this type of add on system. Works perfect and appears to be made for the tractor.

Google it. They are still around under a different name as part of a large holding. New name is Energy Manufacturing Co. Inc. Looks like they still make a number of hydraulic products. Who knows they might have some info on the units like yours, if you can find a model and talk with them.

I was thinking about selling the WC and the guy who looked at
the tractor was upset that someone put hydraulics on the old
girl. He said some farmer has made up the hydraulic pump
up. I showed him it was factory made by Energy name plate
and serial number on the unit. He said it was made by a
farmer. Another expert?s opinion.

Can you post some pictures of it? Or email them to me aaron_cummings(at)hotmail.com. All I'm envisioning is a PTO pump or maybe a belt pulley driven pump of some sort. No doubt a farmer put it on, but I can't see why anyone would be upset about it.

If the tractor wasn't destroyed by installing it, what is the big deal? Buy the tractor, remove pump, then sell it for gas money.

Wonder if his pick-up is 100% like it left the dealer show room and driven with kid gloves? Bet it's fake chromed out with loud pipes and oversized wheels...

It takes all kinds

Are you around Kansas City by chance? There was a WC with manufactured hydraulic system and 3 pt on CL last week. If I hadn't just spent all my play money I would have been hauling it home!
