I will soon be looking to have the
Roosa Master injection pump and
injectors from my 801 diesel (172)
rebuilt. I've read the various
pros and cons of doing it yourself
and would prefer to have it done professionally.
I was wondering if anyone would
recommend a shop based on their
experience. I'm in east-central
PA but would be willing to send
the items where necessary to have
it done right and as economically
as possible. The machine shop
where I'm going to have the block
hot tanked is connected to a major
farm implement dealership in our
area but they don't rebuild pumps
or injectors and didn't recommend
anyone. In fact the gentleman I
spoke to opined that it might be
difficult to have the pump rebuilt
due to lack of parts availability.
Anyway, this forum has been a
valuable source of information so
I figured I'd ask another
question.
Thanks for your time.

My neighbor has a Ford 841 diesel with probably the roosamaster pump. H e had it rebuilt by Oregon fuel injection here in Eugene, Oregon for about 800 bucks. They did an excellent job

Talk to Diesel Tech or Al Baker the pumpman here on the forum. Would deal with either of them.

I also had my pump along with my injectors rebuilt by Oregon fuel injection. They did a great job and got it back to me pretty quick.

I have parts for that pump, and some NOS pumps with new hydraulic heads now that I didn't have before. E-mail mhf35diesel@yahoo.com for more info.
