Could someone kindly share with me the PROPER location for the battery holder/battery on a 1969 M670 Super? Equipped with the Tele-Flo enclosed console taking up the entire space where the batteries on the older M670s sit, it cannot go there. I am interested in the location the battery was located FROM THE FACTORY, as well as any suggestions others may have as to where their's is located.

Photos would be helpful, but not essential.

Thank you in advance!

I don't know on yours, but My M5's battery was on the inside of the right side fender. The battery was a long skinny 12 volt.

Late model closed center hydraulic M670 Supers had them mounted to the frame rail, still used the long, skinny 3ET. Diesels mounted them on both sides. Gas and LP I believe were only on the starter side. I might have a picture of them, never have much luck getting them to upload. Email me and I can send them. chrisquatmann@gmail.com
