Where can I find an original Ford bumper # C5NN-17750-B for my Ford 841? They were made to slide weights in between rounded bars of bumper.

They don't show up every day and the weights show up less frequently. As for the angle brackets, you might as well plan on making your own though they are out there too.
Are you familiar with searchtempest.com?
It takes a bit to learn how to use the settings to find what you are looking for but then you can search All of the Craigslists in the whole US and Canada for stuff based on distance from your zip code.
Very handy.

I welded mine together out of two bumpers. One had been cut off at the top and the other was mangled at the bottom but the top bar and verticals were nice.
You can kinda see I didn't get the back of the vertical perfectly straight.

I found one in Missouri, which looks pretty good and not cheap. But at least when the tractor gets painted it will have a nice original bumper on it.

If you are looking for the one for the correct one for hundred series you do not want one off a thousand series. The one for the thousands series was build wider to accommodate the wider square nose tin which is why they have a bigger gap between the top and middle rail so you couldn't mount the weights between them. You need the one that is evenly spaced rails as on my 641. You could probably mount the later one and add two bottom weights, it won't be correct but will probably work. A lot of people won't n
know the difference. here's the later model one on my early 4000

I guess with a little persuasion you can get the later one to fit any tractor but it don't make it right.

If original they don?t come cheap in good condition but if the one UD has on his tractor it is not original to your tractor so should be less money

Kirk,
Mine IS a Ford bumper - not aftermarket.
I knew about the two different bumpers, the difference in spacing between the horizontal bars and how you can only use two weights on mine vs 4 weights on the 4 cyl ones.
But I didn't know 3 cyl ones were wider.
Your explanation why the upper row of weights can't be used makes sense.
I am curious now. Mine measures about 29" from upright to upright. What do yours measure?
These are also worth a bit - to 3 cyl owners.
With the bumper, weights and original angle brackets I would not sell mine for less than $500. It took me about 5 years to find all the pieces for it. If I had to swag a number I'd say $200-$250 for a vgc bumper (both types) $100 apiece for the weights (with bolts and plates) and $50 for the angle brackets.
