My bother in law is looking at this MF Discbine, MF 1359 with steel on steel rolls. Does anyone have any experience with this machine? Please correct me if I am wrong but I believe I have seen this design with Hesston and New Idea and maybe even Agco labels on them. It is a nine footer.

What are the pro's and con's, any severe short comings?

Thanks. Paul

AGCO has combined Hesston into Massey Ferguson, they also sell that same mower under their New Idea brand. I haven't really seen anything bad about the MF1359 yet.

older gen of that mower was also sold as the 8309 Case IH.

I think that mower design has well stood the test of time.

They've made it forever in many different colors and decals.

Thanks everyone. My brother in law bought it. Now he, maybe me also, have to go get it. Paul
