I have a 9n that I drove into my shop close to years ago. It has the Sherman trans. I pulled it out this spring and it now is outside. The rear tires match, and have tons of tread. Fronts are just old car tires. Sheet metal looks its age. I hate to send this thing to the scraper. Anyone want it?? I will not turn down any offer or trade that isnt just stupid. I think in a few weeks I will be headed to western Ia. I-80 from northern Mi. I could deliver it to someone who may want this thing. I know the interest in these old girls has dropped, but maybe a nice project for a teen or grandkid. I did hear it run, it did not smoke. I just hate to scrap this thing, wife wants it gone. Al

Well, Al, You do seem to be doing the right thing for your girl here. If we were a bit closer I would have jumped on that like a duck on a June bug, but a 5K mile trip is hard to do on a retired enlisted GI's pension.

I, in fact, saved my pennies for a long time and finally bought an almost brand new (only 80 years old) 9N early this summer and have been slaving away on carefully fixing all that maintenance that was done over the years. It's operational and ambulatory during it's repairs although it's lonely out there in the barn (he keeps me up sometimes with his whimpering).

Classy deal on your girl - all the best.
