I notice that several of the replies and becoming disconnected from the original post. Then others reply to the disconnected replies. I am
not sure why this is. The problem seems to be on both classic and modern view.

I used to notice disconnected replies in classic view after a post moved a few pages back from page 1. Not sure why. I used to use the classic cause you could see who was replying to who which gave some of the replies some context. Lately been using the modern view as it shows more posts per page and seems easier to post pictures. I post from the phone when using pictures and it has to be on wifi and sometimes it is fast and sometimes it takes an hour. Since I've been doing a lot of archive searches before posting, I found modern view is better for searches. Recently spent a few hours searching gasket makers. There are a lot of sharp people on here that gave good advice back when I first joined and I'm glad most of them are still here and kicking. Wish I had a nickel for every post by tractor vet on gas octane or every post by John T on alternators/generators/magnetos. A lot of good stuff in the archives.
