I Purchased the Tractor in 1991 Bridgeport WA. Tractor was complete with Ferguson loader, was browny gold at the time, engine ran but trans bad. I knew nothing about Gold Demonstrators, I thought it was an ugly color repaint. I owned 861D at the time.
SOS Trans rebuilt 1995 by Central Howell Equip, Salem OR. Installed but tractor never used. 2001 My Dad and his buddy (both retired farmers) thought they would strip and repaint the tractor. I did some research and found out about Gold Demonstrators from RED5800 (Rick). They stripped the paint, rattle can primed and lost interest. It went to a barn in Edison WA. Yes I told them to take pictures. They did but we cant find them.
2020 (I'm retired now) I drug it out of the barn, purchased adjustable front axle and power adjust wheels (no spacers yet), 1000hrs, 10 months later and $$$$$ its done. I have taken 100+ pictures of the gold parts that they did not strip.

WOW! That looks sharp! Please let me know if it's still in Edison and available for live viewing, as I'm not far away (Mount Vernon).

Those are the best serial numbers I've seen on a diesel model
I can barely see the first two on my 881D, battery acid as eaten up the rest, model numbers are ok.

I started looking for NAPA/Martin Senour 99L 13167. No NAPA stores that I could find have M/S paint. I did figure out that Sherwin Williams owns M/S and they can mix it but only at a S/W automotive store. I gave them the 13167. There code ended up being 5A-2146705-A sand metallic. Make sure they dont talk u out of the hardener like they did me. Good thing was I didnt get to far before I figured out something was wrong and bought hardener.

I knew that number look familiar. Burt Hudson claims to have an 871 with the same number. I know they were still using the upside down b for the 9 for the serial numbers in the earlier hundred series but
can't remember when they went to the standard 9
