Hi all, I bought this tractor and it seems to be in great disrepair, I have started to restore it but keep having problems with part. I think its a 1949 TEA 20. It has no serial plate on console, no casting marks on right side lower trans/hydraulic housing, but engine serial number stamped in is S97428E. The casting number on right side of engine is DA9189 below this is 56016. On the left side trans/hydraulic in front of pto shifter is casting stamp D. Any help is greatly appreciated. P.S. This is my first tractor

Does it have an aluminum alloy transmission housing? Two latches to unhook the hood for opening?
Is the steering gearbox cast in a unit with the transmission cover? Cast iron oil pan with
portholes? All point to TEA20.

Not sure if it has aluminum alloy trans housing, it does have two latches for the hood, the steering gearbox is not casted in the transmission, and the oil pan is cast with a porthole on right side
