|
|
I have Cat D4 7U loader. I bought last fall for $1500
The radiator has a big hole at the bottom of it. All bolts have been removed from the radiator and mounting bolts as well.
I have a 44 Hydraulic Control in front of the radiator. I have undone the 4 bolts between the Module and the radiator. I removed the front cover and have cleaned all the gunk from the inside. The filter will be cleaned with gasoline. I have to order a few parts that were found missing when uncovering the cover.
1. I need to know how to remove the Module Control from the front of the radiator?
2. How to remove the radiator so can replace the fan belt |

All that should be in the D47U shop manual. Readily available from places like Ebay. You can also go to the forum at this site-https://www.acmoc.org/bb/discussion-d72 |

After removing the bolts the 44 pump will slide off the splined shaft. It is heavy. |

You should be able to change the fan belt with out removing the radiator you need to removed the 4 small bolt from the joint to the crankshaft puly and slide the coupling on the hydrolic pump shaft splenne and you should have room for instaled the new fan belt |

I take it you want to remove the radiator to repair it, the hydraulic control needs to come off, remove control rods and hoses, remove the outer brackets, support the weight, remove the inner nuts, 3 each side of the pump support bracket and the whole unit should pull straight out, then remove the rad.
