John Deere H connecting rods

Can someone tell me if it matters if there is an top or bottom on the H connecting rods. Most rods and pistons have a mark or stamp these have nothing to tell the difference.

My original post is just asking if there is
a top and bottom to the connecting rods on
a john deere H

The top side has the bolt reversed to clear the camshaft. The top should have one or two dots on either side of the split. One is left, two is right.

You can run them any way you want but you will have to run the top bolt the other way so it don't hit the cam.

Thanks a lot. I assumed this was the case. I have 3 sets of rods and not one of them has the normal indicators of up or top or anything like that. Thanks for your time
