My dealer found one at another dealer so I decided to get it . Got the 1/16 scale one . Think I might get the 1/32 scale one to go with my 1/32 precision’s

I must admit the new modern models of real tractors don't interest me. They all look like they belong in a "Star Wars" movie.

I like models of the tractors I grew up around and the tractors dad's customers had. I'm in my late 40's and can remember unstyled A and B john deeres raking has as we drove down the road in dad's old blue truck. I also remember watching dad overhaul an Oliver 70 on cutoffs. JD 60's International M's WD-9's and about every color of tractor under the sun.

My collection consists mostly of models from the 30's to the 70's. I posted pictures of my collection and made simiular comments on a farm toy web page. I was told I needed to stop living in the past and collet new models because that's where it's at! The point of collecting is for enjoyment. When I look at a new toy, I see a chunk of plastic. When I look at a Farmall M or an Allis WD-45. It makes me smile.

I like the old ones a lot but I also like new tractors . I like a good steam engine and frohlich or Waterloo boy but I also like a 9rx or a new holland row track with wheels on the front and tracks on the back

i have about all the kinze items in 1/16 scale, the grain carts, his tractor and the 3600 swivel planter, i got the stuff when i used to assemble the kinze planters for dealer in my shop. looks like both of us need to do some dusting, i am going to be building some more glass enclosed display units from the barn beams i kept from barn i took down last fall that i spent about everyday in it choring growing up. it just got beyond repair and i ended up with it in the estate. plans are to run beams thru woodmizer saw and make boards from them, will see how that goes.
