Finally got the A unstuck! Everything worked out alright let it soak in PB blaster deep creep for a week and on the last day cut it with acetone and threw in some marvel mystery oil.

Took a floor jack and a box end reciever hitch and was able to put it in the groove of the flywheel teeth. Once the tractor was barely off the ground, gravity did the job and slowly we made one revolution of the flywheel. I refilled the cylinders with MMO let it sit while I let the battery charge (used my new battery to get my diesel pickup running after the cold week here in Iowa). Waited about an hour went back out and just for hoots and hollers hit the starter. And you would have though a space shuttle was taking off with the fluid coming out of the spark plug and petcocks holes. I did scope the combustion chambers with a camera and it doesnt appear that anything is hanging up or dragging in there. Tons of compression. Smooth free movement of the flywheel.

I turned it by hand to get most of the other fluid out. Not really wanting to pull the head off after I tried someone elses suggestions and lightly tapped on the valves after taking off the rocker arm and those surprisingly freed up too.

Seeking recommendations on getting any remaining fluid out of the cylinders. Ive got brake clean in my mind figured Id ask for opinions. Then Ill move onto checking the points/mag/ wires and hopefully within the month now Ill be able to get it running instead of a year!

Spark plug recommendations? Ive got it full of oil water and everything but gas.

Does anyone have a hood? Mine has some pretty bad cut marks.

On my old tractors we used to give a pull ,but make sure every thing turns free and moves ( valves ) also if your shed has been cold make sure the coupling for the oil pump has not broken, broke coupling = NO OIL PRESSURE, you could take off gauge and turn over by hand some oil should come out if coupling is good, good luck Bryan

Put a piece of hose in the cylinder with the end toward the bottom then blow compressed air across the other end. Don't aim the air at anything.
