How do you remove the axle from the housing? I need to get the brake drums out of the axle so they can be cleaned up some. (grooves) The book says to bump it out. We have tried and can't get it to move more than a sixteenth of an inch at the top. Just can't get behind it and bump it equally, so it binds and stops. Do I need to take the stub axle out of the housing to get to the back side of the bottom of the bearing housing? This is an early WC with the one piece axle.....
