64 Fordson Super Major w/ Loader & Backhoe

Hey, This is my first time posting but I've been reading this forum for a few months. I got myself a 64 Fordson Super Major w/ Loader & Backhoe both with Ford tags. It's badged as a Ford 5000 with a sticker but has a Fordson medallion on the nose cone I got it from the second owner, who had it for 23 years. He got it from the original owner. I've run it around the yard. It appears to be in good condition and functions properly. I plan to change the fluids and grease all the zerks I can find before putting it to use. I took about 200 pictures and have a walk around video of it. Although I have not gotten under the tractor for pictures. It's going to be use to repair a retaining wall, repair a septic field and clean up a shore line at a home/shack that my wife and I plan to live in when we retire. I'm very thankful I found this site and other sites.

Nice looking rig. It's a Ford 5000 Super Major. They were called that in North America and were Fordson Super Majors in the rest of the world. Make sure you change the oil in the injection pump when you are servicing it.

Thanks. I won't be running it until I change the fluids and grease. I'll have to remember who borrowed my grease gun. My buddy, who I thought I lent
it to, says he doesn't have it. Either he is soft in the head or it's me. That's a 50/50 proposition.

Hey, Any luck with getting the pictures upoaded? I also have a 64 Super Major with a Ford 3I2 Loader and 723 Backhoe
