I was wondering if there was a spray
like that I can put on the cultivator so
the paint would stick to it. I guess I'm
being lazy some instead of sanding it or
sand plating the cultivator. I would like
to spray it but also looks like a
challenge to do. Might have to brush it.
Thanks guys. |

It's not so much that paint won't stick, it's just difficult to get a paint that is hard enough that won't rub off. Soil is very abrasive. Your best bet would be powder coat but that's not really a diy coating. Sherwin Williams makes a paint called Sher-Kem enamel that would hold up better than the average paint. It don't come in rattle can though. |

Yes there is. It is called primer paint. Don't even dream of using powder coat unless you are sure that whatever it is will never get scratched. powder coat is like putting rust on steroids. |

Thanks for the info guys on the cultivator. I don't plan on using it in the ground just going to be at shows. Also iv seen the shovels on a 37B that where red?. Do you guys know if the 37l is sopose to be like that or just green. I ask the guy about it an he said it was done that way so you could see it to cultavat the corn. I said really what do you do after the frist cupull passes and the paint is gone. The one on the 45B was silver from the ground. |

Shovel weren't red, but the shank that the shovel mounted to were red on the early models. |
