I have a friend that bought this tractor. It needs paint but runs good. I have looked at a lot of pictures and most have the stack coming up, but his is underneath. His is diesel. Could anyone tell me what it is worth in its current state and what it would be worth painted. It looks to be mostly original. I will get pictures posted shortly. Also where is the serial number located?

Value is a strange thing, sometimes they sell for more in the condition it is in. Price range for one here in England would range from 1500.00 up to 4500. They are a great little tractor and that one will be about 45hp.

Serial number is stamped into the bellhousing flange on the clutch side.
Looks like good tires. It has the advantage of a slow low gear which
is good for rototilling. It's disadvantage is the difficulty for an old
man to get on and off. Paint is an individual thing. Do a quick and
dirty job with a spray can. (OSHA blue is close). I'd guess it's in
the $3000 to $4000 range, depending on a lot of things.
