Do the Ford 134, 172 and 192 engines with hex oil pump drive use the same drive rod? I found a rod for 134/172 engines but I have a 192 engine in my Jubilee that came out of a Jacobson G10.

Problem is it's not a tractor engine. It
was a power unit. An old Ford dealer
might still have the parts book and
could check the part numbers but finding
one still is business will be hard to
do. You might try napa. Elgin used to
make parts for them but no idea if they
still do.

I was hoping someone familiar with Jacobsons might know. I would guess they are the same, but it would be a guess. They all look alike from the outside.

I could have pulled the distributor & measured it by now & re-installed it.

Should be the same rod EAF 66648-D. I don't have one a part right now and I loaned out my industrial engine book to a friend who is doing a 192 rebuild. I have a 192 in my NAA and if you have the
old oil gauge don't be surprised if it's pegged when you start it up. oil pressure is about 80 lbs in the industrial. If you still have the G10 a guy is looking for some parts. Send me you contact
info.

Just came up on two articles that states that the pump rod is the same for the 172 and 192 engines. Both 1/4" hex. Can be made from a Ford 300 six cylinder shaft cut down. I have found a new one for sale and ordered it. I read it is recommended to replace it if rebuilding the engine or replacing the pump or distributor. I thank you all for the help and comments.

I think that you have this thread confused with another one. The title if this thread is:

Ford 134, 172, 192 engine oil pump drive rod

And his first post in the thread was this:

Quote:
Do the Ford 134, 172 and 192 engines with hex oil pump drive use the same drive rod? I found a rod for 134/172 engines but I have a 192 engine in my Jubilee that came out of a Jacobson G10.
