Anyone have any issues plowing with a land plow when using a front end from a 4400? Im planning on swapping to a 4400 front end from a 3000. I do have all the parts to swap over, but Im just wondering on this.

You will lose ground clearance and your
front track will be wider than you'd
normally run on a 3000.
But I don't see either of those as being a
real big deal. I have been running LCG
spindles on my 3000 for nearly 10 years now
and front ground clearance is about the
same as a 4400 front end. I plow and disk
with it every year with no issues. I did
put a cast iron oil pan on it to protect
the oil pump from stumps and rocks and
suggest you do also.
The biggest drawback I see is you will lose
a lot of crispness on your nimble 3000 with
that 4400 front end. 4400s steer like a
water buffalo.
