Just a heads up to anyone considering mounting a Snow Blower on a Fordson Major Diesel with raised PTO & over-running clutch attached to output shaft. Normal shaft will be too long to attach. You need to remove over-running clutch.. If you should cut snow-blower shaft to fit , then the shaft will be too short for other tractors. Fortunately a blower , un-like a bush cutter ,, does,nt require the use of a Sprague clutch & besides , its a piece of cake to remove the PTO one way clutch.. ..
