Hopefully somebody can help me out. I just bought a 580ck front end loader with the 3 point setup no backhoe. The linkage for the pto throw arm was missing so I ordered what I could and Jerry rigged the rest. It looks good and performs well. No parts for the handle, torque bar works well for now.
The bigger issue at hand here is that now that I can move the throw arm while engaging the clutch while seated it did not fix the original problem which is that the pto will not disengage unless I apply a lot of force to the throw arm. The original manual that I do have is not helpful as the instructions do not seem to match the style of pto I have. Its original from what I can tell but there is no side clutch adjustment port.
I dont know a whole lot about tractors and am being cautious about how far I go into this project.
Seeing if there is anybody out there that may know this particular setup and might know of any tricks to get the clutch tightened up.

A picture of the rear pto would be helpful. Early and late were different.

Im guessing that it is the early as it does not have the clutch adjust
access port on the left hand side of the housing.

Actually that is the latest offering used on late 530 - 570 tractors, those units are adjusted through the plug you have removed. If it snaps in good and does not slip under load that is good, does it drive disengaged, those brakes were not great and new are not available, It would be possible for the discs to be warped and drag but my advice would be to use it unless it is not feasable or safe. I would guess there are many more that work just like yours.
