I have a 1968 MF135 deluxe with the Continental 145 gas motor and I bought an Operators manual for it but there is no mention of that motor anywhere in the book. Supposed to be a reprint of the MF 1448 077 M1 manual. Why is there no mention of the Continental motor?

From the AGCOpubs site, it appears you got the manual for the Perkins gas and diesel. The 135 with a Continental is a different Operator's Manual. (The M# suffix changes with the printing date of the manual.) They apparently don't have all 3 engines in the same Operator's Manual.

Get the IT-MF14 manual. It's very good and details everything. What I use. Has both gas and diesel. Don't remember where I bought it but have seen it at TSC. Look on line.

He asked about the Operator's Manual he got which did not contain info on the Continental engine.

I&T's MF-14 manual is a shop manual, not Operator's manual. The MF 135 service manual covers all three engines.
