New to the forum here. I operate a small vegetable farm and currently have a hard time getting steady help to pick certain things. Beans being one of them. Recently a guy I work for off farm found a Ford 4000 tractor with a mounted Pixall picker. I looked into an Oxbo BH100 and they are way out of the realm of reality for me. This tractor and old picker supposedly works. I do know you can't get OEM parts for the harvester. I am curious though if anyone has ever been around a machine like this. I am a Deere guy but my boss has a Ford 5000 that if I had to choose a machine that wasn't a Deere, that would be it. I don't have that many beans and peas that I harvest at one time but the machine is cheaper and most likely more reliable than labor.
