I purchased a K2 last fall and it worked
Like a champ on my 10 acres. I started it up several times all year without problems. I began prepping it for this fall and ran into some issues on the hydraulics.
No fluid is getting to the main clutch.I can raise the head but when I release the handle it falls. I can move the auger out but it won t retract. Power steering works and I can turn on the head. Port 2 was stuck which goes to the main.
I cleaned the manifold.
Everything was put back together and still have the same issues. I did not separate the manifold. Looking for ideas? And possible a "gleaner combine repairman" who could assist in Michigan.
I did remove the hose on port 2 to the main and even when I move the rod no fluid is coming out. The poppets look ok. Could I have a pump issue?
Any help is appreciated.

The belt seems fine. I checked the reel lift and got 2000psi that is required. I also checked flow which was at the 3.5 GPM. I took off the manifold and separated each solenoid and found nothing glaring and no blockages. Put it back together then fired it up. Have a leak at the main clutch (order the o ring and washer) but then didn t have hydraulics and the reel lift. If I get 2000 psi in one port could I still have a bad pump?

how does the power steering work. does it have its own pump or runs thru the control value. If does run thru the value maybe that
curcuit is causing the problems. If your head drops after releasing the leveler something isn't right in that control secition.
just some things to think and look at
