This morning it was still raining here in south Louisiana, after two days of constant drizzle and depression.
Two weeks ago on a clear day it took 1/2 day of cleaning and shining all the copper and a change of coil to get her to even spit once after sitting for six months.
This morning I turned on the gas, put the throttle 1/3 and without a choke, I hit the start button.
The old engine did not even make one revolution when it came to life, and was ready to go.
I still don't understand why I even tried to start it in the rain, she never liked wet weather before.
I wish I had two N's to piddle with.

Plenty of them out there for sale. Start shopping. Mine will start right after a rain to.

Why not get one for each day of the week? Mine won't start at all but it's in about 2,000 pieces.

Spray your electrical system (coil, distributer, plug wires) with a good dose of WD40. I've had my 2N get soaked, refusing to start, did this, waited a few minutes and it cranked right up.
