Wondering if anybody knew the initial settings for the load and idle screws on my carb. Not sure if it makes a difference but it is a Zenith. It's the same carb on a WC. I usually set them at 1 1/2 turns idle and 3/4 turn on load on MS carbs but never rebuilt a zenith. Thanks for any info.

What doesn't the rebuild kit have an instruction sheet with it that tells set up of the adjustments?? Now as far as the settings I alway use 1 turn out for idle and 1-1/2 to 2 turns out for main jet on all carbs then go from there. Oh by the way I also own one of the W Speed Patrol and have a parts manual for it. You can see pictures of mine in the web site I posted

Usually, adjusting carbs is just dialing it in to the engine at the engines best running area. Like us, each engine is different from one another and adjustments will vary. As Old mentioned, his starting points are textbook, and from there fine tuning may be needed for engine response off and under load... HTH
