Thats a difficult one.Over the years several mfgs have used the"Turf King"name. If they are heavier duty machines, the could be Jacobsens,if lighter homeowner/box store"tractors" or "riders, they could be from other mfgs.More info as to engine, appx age,"tractor"type or mid/rear engine"rider",colors..and/or pictures might help greatly.Prior to the 90s many contract built units were not required to be tagged with mfgs name, only the "trade name" the retailer wanted displayed. This enhanced the sellers parts/service income. For example,if you bought a "Gambles" mower, you went to Gambles for parts/service,as you did not know that it was MTD,AMF,Wheeler,Murray etc, etc, etc built and parts/service could be obtained from any dealer selling same mfgs units under"whatever"name, color.
Take for instance the ubitiquos lowly MTD 600 series "transmatic" tractors, which are sold all over the world,in various colors/hood grill styles, under over 100 various "Store names"since the 1980s Smile.Without the current"origin" tags,it can be a real challenge to ID a mfg.
