Its been asked before- here is proof ; ad reads D19 with a 185 diesel motor; its on a sale in Perryville Mo. on 3-14-09; Auctioneers are Manche Auction Service 573-547-1818

I've seen a D19 with a 301 in it at auction several years ago in central NY state. It was a cob job around the front because there just isn't enough room in that frame for that engine. The real answer I think would be the four cylinder/turbo version used in several later machines. Length would be no issue and it would have plenty of power for that tractor.

Boy, is that an ugly looking botch job. Waste of 2 good tractors.....

I shoulda looked closer, its just a 185 front on a D19- ROUGH !!!!
