Thaought I was going to get my VAC started today, finished flushing the gas tank, new plugs , points, condensor, and coil. Hoked up the fuel line to the new sediment bowl turned on the fuel and gas ran right out of the carb onto the floor. Took the carb apart and am soaking it in aceton right now, but the fuel valve seat seems to be stuck tight, any tips on removing the stuck valve seat?

Heat the seat and any jets you want to remove with a small propane torch. You may have to heat and let cool several time before it will come loose.Propane works better than acetylene because it does not get too hot.Good Luck and keep us informed. Nick
