I found a 1952 Case VAS that I would love to have. Dont know a whole lot about them but been looking for a good old tractor to make my project. I came accross this one and from what I understand these are prety rare. The tractor is in pretty rough condition. Will need mostly new tins, though all still there except for hood. Fenders are still there but pretty rusty. This make a good project tractor?

The only things that are VAS specific are the front axle center tube, rear drop housings and eagle hitch, everything else is the same as a late model VAC and the brakes are the same as a VAH. I have been looking for one and cannot find one in a condition I can afford nor do I have the time to drive down to Louisiana to get one. They seem to fetch a very nice price when restored.

I am between Milwaukee and Chicago, and I don't care if it even has an engine or tires, as long as the WFE, eagle hitch, and other high crop parts are there/rebuildable/fixable as I am a machinist/welder, and will travel a bit for one, just not to the other side of the country.

I am in central NC. If that is not to far send me an email for details.
