My 1070 hydro valve has had failure of the thermal valves, pt. no. A 13794. They are plastic and the stem bends causing loss of presure. Is there any alternative to these plastic valves. Thank You RT

Not that I am aware of, the thermals warp because of extreme heat such as when the linkage is tight and doesn"t return keeping the system on high pressure for extended periods of times. They last for years otherwise. I would recommend just replacing them and take steps to keep the levers centering properly. You will not have a problem with them then. I have replaced lots of them and extreme heat is all that can cause it. mEl
