Looking for wheel weights for my D15 and was wondering:

-How much do the segment weights used on D15/17 weigh?
-What about one-piece weights from WD/WD45? Can I use those?
-Can weights be added to the inside of the rim?

Any insight would be great.
Thanks.

I don't know this for a fact, but I don't think you can use WD/WD45 weights, as they are for a 28" rim and the 14's and 15's use a 26" rim. I have the pie weights on my D-15 II, I think they weigh about 80-100 lbs each. A set around here will cost you about $3-400. No inside the wheel weights were made for spin out rims, as far as I know.

Thanks, Dave. $300 to $400??? Really? Wow.

How about other brands? I see a lot of IH wheel weights for sale for far less than $3-400. Isn't it just a matter of correct weight diameter and correct bolt diameter? There's a set of IH weights listed in the YT photo ads for $100.

Flat, there may be some combines, or other makes of tractors that use weights close enough to bolt on. I bolted a set of farmall 140 weights on a kubota, had to use smaller bolts, but I got'er done. The problem is in having the right weight and the tractor close enough, nobody wants to lug one of them heavy suckers 50 yards, then have it not fit. Thing to do is to look for a tractor or combine with the same size wheel, and hopefully they'll cross over. Measure a bunch of times, then lug the weight.

I have put WD or WD45 weights on my D14, which has the same wheel as a D15, and they fit fine. You just can't get access to the ecentrics to adjust the spin-out wheels.
