Put new hoses on PS pump and have had leaks around the banjo fittings that screw into pump. Retorqued them and still leaks even when not running.

Any Ideas? I put new "copper" washers under the fittings (old ones looked like brass).

Thanks.

what kind of hoses did you use? if it's like a 900 they are auto ps type fittings and not hydraulic even though hyd. hoses will thread in to them.

I rub those copper washers over a fine flat file
before installing them on brake caliphers. They use 2 washers, one on the outside & one on the inside. Hal

THey are the automotive style. Had to hunt for someone that had them. I believe "most" of the leakage is coming from the banjo fittings that go into the pump.

I do have 2 washers, one on each side. Didn't file them though. Tempted to put the old brass ones back in. May try filing 1st.

Sounds like the threads aren't matching. Or the ones in the pump are partially worn or stripped. Just an idea.
