I have a 53' DC and wondered if anybody knows where the hour meter would mount. Also it appears that it is turned on by a oil pressure switch which seems to be missing . Any ideas as to where to find one.

Don't know on the DC but our 53 SC had the hour meter mounted on the transmission housing in a L shaped bracket just behind the shift lever.

Dad unplugged it early on and I never understood why he never wanted it to work and keep track of engine hours. It stayed that way from 1953 until he got rid of it in the early 80s.
