Check your complete suction run from the bottom of the transmission housing for loose clamps or a damaged suction hose. I have seen the filter housing worked loose on the threads where the suction filter mounts to the front of the firewall if its that style, later units had the filter under the floorboards. If all checks out it would indicate that your charge pump is getting weak. . mEl

In addition to all that mEl said ,rather

than the pump being bad , it may be the

shaft seal in the pump, much cheaper than

a pump. Have had that trouble in the early

1000 series case crawlers. 450 usually has

suction hose trouble , either leak or inner

lining coming loose.
